Welcome to Muddy Valley Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Muddy Valley Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are bred by Wendy and Neil Millward on our family farm in beautiful WaikoukouValley, just north of Auckland, New Zealand.

We started in 2017, when we were lucky enough to be invited into a group that were importing Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats into New Zealand. We jumped at the opportunity to be part of this passionate group of people.

Our goal is to breed friendly and productive Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats with correct body comfirmation and high milk production. We are fortunate to be able to import purebred bucks from Australia for our breeding programme. We currently have an Artificial Insemination (AI) breeding programme using imported purebred semen to introduce more genetics to New Zealand. Our animals are registered with the New Zealand Dairy Goat Breeders Association (NZDGBA).

Our family life revolves around our beautiful herd. When we’re not on the farm, you can find us traveling to shows around New Zealand, showing our goats and sharing our knowledge about Nigerian Dwarf Goats.
